Two colors, one font, one little pod.
How to use the Glowpod logo, colors, type and our mascot Pip. Writing about Glowpod or building on it? Start here.
Logo
The mark is a pod with a sprout antenna and a glowing tip. Pair it with the lowercase wordmark set in Inter Bold.
Clear space and size
- Keep empty space around the logo equal to the height of the pod's body.
- Smallest size: 24px for the mark alone, 96px wide for the full logo.
- Use the mark alone for favicons, app icons and avatars.
Please don't
-
Change its color
-
Stretch or squash it
-
Drop the outline on white
-
Add shadows or glows
Color
Exactly two brand colors. Bio Black is the ground; Synthetic Lime is the spark. Everything else is neutral grey.

Lime on Bio Black · about 16:1
Great for headlines, numbers and links.
Lime on white · about 1.2:1
Unreadable. On white, lime is a fill only, never text.
Typography
Inter for every word, JetBrains Mono for anything Kubernetes prints. Hierarchy comes from size and weight, not from more fonts.
Inter
400 · 500 · 600 · 700Headlines use weight 700 with tight tracking: −2.5px at 72px, −1px at 32px. Body text stays at 400 and 16px.
JetBrains Mono
400 · 500For pod and node names, commands, YAML and logs. Never for headlines or buttons.
Meet Pip
Pip is a small, curious pod who lights up when things are healthy. Pip lives in our brand: the website, docs, social posts and stickers. Never inside the product.
- Body
- A round pod in Synthetic Lime. Never another color.
- Outline
- A thick Bio Black line around every shape, like a sticker.
- Antenna
- One sprout with a glowing tip. It's where the "glow" comes from.
- Face
- Big eyes, a small smile, two little feet. No arms, no teeth.
-
Happy
Default. Home page, docs, README.
-
Wink
Releases, announcements, thank-yous.
-
Surprised
404 page and "page moved" notes.
-
Sleepy
Maintenance and "nothing here yet" pages.
Do
- Use Pip on the website, docs, social posts, talks and swag.
- Pick the expression that fits the moment.
- Give Pip room: at least one Pip-width of space around it.
Don't
- Put Pip inside the Glowpod app. The product stays calm.
- Use Pip to show cluster status or errors.
- Recolor Pip, add arms or accessories, or make it sad or angry.
Voice
Short, plain and kind. Say what happened and what to do, then keep the real Kubernetes term in brackets so experts recognize it.
| Situation | Write | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Pods crashing | 3 pods keep restarting in payments (CrashLoopBackOff) | ERROR: CrashLoopBackOff detected |
| All healthy | All 42 nodes look healthy | No issues found!!! |
| No permission | You can't view secrets in this namespace. Ask an admin for access. | 403 Forbidden |
